Leadership Lackawanna
Leadership Lackawanna fosters the development of community leaders by providing participants with an enhanced understanding of the various issues and topics relevant to the Greater Scranton area. Trends and data on community development, economic development, government, health care, law, education, quality of life, sustainability and media help shape this ten-month program. Further, it provides participants with the opportunity to exchange ideas and personally interact with the individuals responsible for charting the future of our region. Overall, the program’s goal is to create a motivated corps of volunteer leaders that social service and civic groups could draw from for advice and guidance. e development of community leaders by providing participants with an enhanced understanding of the various issues and topics relevant to the Greater Scranton area.
